A limited and unique photographic opportunity.

Join me for 6 days (7 nights) of creative and imaginative photography in 

the very magical, beautiful, and historical county of Cornwall, England. Located on the junction of the Celtic Sea and the English Channel, Cromwell county is the home to Land’s End, Penzance, the famous “Lizard Point” and many other historical towns and unique traditional English countryside 

Currently limited to 12 photographers, we will stay at the Rising Sun, St. Mawes, Cornwall, England . www.risingsunstmawes.co.uk, this hotel rates on many booking sites consistently as excellent and offers oversized rooms, with many desired amenities.

Shared rooms start at US$4,700.00/£3,500.00 British pounds, includes breakfast and dinner, add US$450.00/£300.00 British pounds for a single room. Air fare & lunch not included.

Pick up point is NEWQUAY Airport.

Useful information

  • Breakfasts and dinners.
  • Wine, water & coffee with evening meals.
    Please Note! Anything other than wine, water and coffee, will be at your own cost, eg. Prosecco, Aperol Spritz, shots, soda, beer, etc
  • All accommodations.
  • Minibus transport or arranged private taxi from the airport to your hotel and back.

We will stay in 2 separate locations 
Aug 20-25 at The Rising Sun Hotel : St Mawes.
Aug 25-29 Pedn-Olva Hotel : St Ives.
 
Day 1. Arrival – settle into Hotel, meet for Dinner & talk about our workshop & what we wish to achieve from it.
 
Day 2. Stay around the village of St. Mawes painting the coastline , boats & landscape .
 
Day 3. Trebah Gardens & Beach. Interesting Large garden which runs into the coastline of English Channel. A maze of plants , ponds , reflections . So much to paint here.
 
Day 4. Mavagissey fishing village . 
 
Day 5. Hopefully visit & paint in the quaint fishing village of Port Issac, featured in the TV Series Doc. Martin. This may be challenging for parking & walking to the Village .
 
Day 5. Can be a free day : We travel to St. Ives & settle into a Hotel Pend-Olva, overlooking the beach & coastline. This is also an opportunity to go visit Ary Works in the Tate Gallery. 
 
Day 6. Travel South to Kynance Cove for a morning session ( Rugged Coastal views)
Afternoon, village of Porthleven.
 
Day 7. Visit Minack Theatre at Lands End then move onto Mousehole village for afternoon painting . 
 
Day 8. Stay around our home base of St.Ives for our final day of painting or catching up on previous work.
 
Day 9. Departure.
