Born in Yorkshire, England in 1953, Phil Hobbs is one of the UK’s most successful pure watercolour painters, with a career spanning nearly 50 years, during which time he has exhibited widely in the UK and the USA.
He has tutored workshops in Italy and the UK is the author of three books and has contributed numerous articles to many national and international magazines.
He is a past President and Honorary Life Member of the Lake Artists Society.
