Born near Paris in France, Catherine travelled all around the world in her twenties, a great human and personal experience... She did some sketches on the way, which disappeared with her backpack one day, a good lesson of letting go ! Back in France, Catherine settled in the beautiful city of Aix-en-Provence, not far from the Mediterraneen sea, where she held many exhibitions and gives art classes. Her proposal is "travel logging", the sketchbook becoming a memory and record of the day. The technic makes it accessible to everyone - accomplished artists and complete beginners, as we play according to our sensibility, with a very personal page composition, while using drawing, watercoloring, writing and collages. We need to learn to look and understand what surrounds us to be able to express it. It is a lot of fun, and creativity is our best friend to make up with the inevitable mistakes of sketching directly on the spot !
